Are you a commercially minded lawyer who thrives on building strong client relationships and delivering practical, strategic advice? We're looking for an experienced Senior Associate or Special Counsel to join a highly regarded and well recognised Commercial Law team in Melbourne. Working closely with a respected Principal and a team of talented, collaborative lawyers, you'll gain broad exposure across multiple industries including automotive, manufacturing, and health. This role offers a diverse flow of commercial law work, with a strong focus on Mergers & Acquisitions and Corporate & Commercial matters such as: Commercial contracts and corporate structures Business restructures and private capital raising Corporate governance and directors' duties Succession planning and stakeholder agreements About You You're a proactive, client-focused lawyer who enjoys tackling complex commercial challenges and mentoring others. Ideally, you'll bring: Demonstrated experience in corporate and commercial law, with hands‑on M&A experience managing transactions from $5 million to $150 million Strong analytical, strategic, and problem‑solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Impeccable attention to detail and a passion for quality work Experience delegating, mentoring, and supporting junior lawyers A genuine interest in business development and fostering new opportunities If you're a motivated professional who values collaboration and excellence, this is an opportunity to take your career to the next level in a supportive and progressive environment.
