Join to apply for the Rigging Artist role at Flying Bark Productions Flying Bark Productions is working on exciting projects such as Avatar: The Last Airbender feature film, Netflix's Stranger Things animated series, as well as our production Tales From Outer Suburbia by Shaun Tan. We are looking for an experienced Rigging Artist who can work from our beautiful Sydney studio, with a passion for storytelling and pushing the envelope with their work. About the role: Create, revise, maintain and support rigged assets, responding to guidance and review notes from Directors and supervisors. Ensure rigged assets meet standards regarding appearance, user interface, performance, robustness, and technical benchmarks. About you: 5+ years of VFX/animation experience, with a thorough understanding of controls and deformation, overseeing rigging through the animation pipeline. Provide support and troubleshooting for users of rigged assets. Excellent communication skills. Up-to-date knowledge of Maya, and good knowledge of Python and MEL. Ability to develop techniques and processes to solve rigging challenges. What do we do?
