We’re hiring a Lead AI/ML Engineer to help steer that momentum You’ll be embedded in a high-calibre team that’s building AI copilots, real-time decision engines, and automated tools that touch thousands of Australian customers as well as empower internal stakeholders. This is your chance to move beyond experimentation and into true production impact. What you'll be leading: End-to-end ownership of AI-powered features and full-stack solutions, from prototype to production. Building and scaling ML models that work with structured and unstructured data: think text, speech, and video. Integrating LLMs and intelligent agents into customer-facing and operational workflows. Designing pipelines and automation frameworks that support rapid iteration and delivery. Mentoring engineers and data scientists while collaborating cross-functionally with product, engineering, and executive stakeholders. What you bring: Proven experience delivering AI/ML solutions in real-world environments: ideally across high-volume or regulated settings (this is non-negotiable). Advanced skills in Python, SQL, and full stack development (React, TypeScript). Hands-on expertise with LLMs, AI agents, or generative AI in production contexts. Strong familiarity with cloud environments (AWS or GCP) and modern CI/CD practices. Demonstrated leadership of small teams or squads, whether mentoring engineers, overseeing delivery pods, or stepping into a tech lead role. A builder’s mindset: proactive, product-focused, and comfortable making decisions in ambiguity. Why this role?
