Overview As a Racing Data Analyst at Dabble, you’ll be at the heart of our racing operations, supporting trading and risk management across global horse racing markets. Reporting to the Head of Racing Risk, you’ll ensure accurate and timely execution of daily analysis and reporting tasks, while serving as the go‑to data and analytics point of contact for racing‑related queries. You’ll play a key role in delivering data‑driven insights that inform trading, pricing, and risk decisions across the sportsbook. Working closely with senior risk analysts and traders, you’ll also collaborate across teams from customer operations to CRM, product, and technology to strengthen our market creation, pricing strategies, and real‑time monitoring. Primary Location This role is currently open to all locations within Australia, however candidates based in Melbourne may be preferred. Responsibilities Deliver accurate and timely racing product analytics, including market creation, monitoring, and settlement reporting Apply statistical and data‑driven methods to monitor prices, measure exposure, and evaluate racing market performance in line with risk guidelines Produce clear and timely performance, client, and market analysis reports to inform decision‑making across trading and risk functions Collaborate with CRM, marketing, product, and premium teams to deliver insights that support campaigns, product improvements, and trading optimisation Contribute to broader sportsbook data and risk projects, providing analysis and reporting support for international sports markets when required Skills & Qualifications Minimum 3 years’ experience in a data‑focused racing or sports analytics role, with at least 2 years specialising in horse racing. Deep knowledge and passion for horse racing, with the ability to turn expertise intoactionable, data‑driven insights (odds compilation experience is a plus) Proficiency with data analysis tools such as Amazon Quick Sight and ExcelStrong statistical, analytical, and problem‑solving skills, with excellent attention to detail and accuracy Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment, managing multiple priorities under pressure Clear and confident communication skills, able to present complex data to non‑technical stakeholders Proactive, solutions‑focused mindset, with a willingness to take on challenges andcontinuously learn Strong alignment with Dabble’s values and commitment to thoroughness in all work Are you a Dabbler?
