Positions & Pay Rates Boilermaker – $50/hr Poly Welder – $45/hr What’s on Offer Immediate start opportunities – get started as soon as possible (after completing compliance onboarding) Competitive hourly rates with overtime opportunities Overtime on weekdays and Saturdays – Saturday shift 6:00am–2:00pm, given to staff on a fortnightly roster basis, to ensure equal opportunities and a healthy work-life balance Full-time day shifts – Monday to Friday 6:00am–1:46pm (with a 30-minute break 9:20–9:50am) Supportive work environment – modern, clean workshops, on-site facilities and on-the-job guidance and mentoring Career development – ongoing training, upskilling, and pathways to permanent opportunities Team culture – approachable, friendly, safety-focused, with quality workmanship valued Work with a leader in the fabrication and engineering industry Key Responsibilities Fabricate, assemble, and install piping systems and metal structures Cut, clamp, bend, grind, and fit pipes and components Read and interpret isometric, fabrication, and technical drawings Perform GTAW (TIG) welding and other fabrication techniques as required Follow safe work practices and adhere to quality standards Poly Welders Perform HDPE butt and electrofusion welding of pipes and components Install HDPE pipework and associated components, including civil works Conduct hydrostatic testing to AS/NZ standards Operate welding machines and hand/power tools safely Maintain weld traceability, quality records, and ensure product integrity Work in all positions, including trenches, shoring boxes, EWPs, and scaffolding Requirements / What We’re Looking For Full Australian trade qualifications and experience (Pipe Fitter, Boilermaker, Poly Welder) Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade (Pipe Fitters/Boilermakers) or relevant HDPE welding certifications (Poly Welders) Strong commitment to safety and quality work Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented , able to work independently when required, and willingness to learn and upskill Knowledge of fabrication principles, welds, and pipe fittings Physically fit for heavy tasks Previous experience operating Dixon or McElroy welding machines (Poly Welders) How to Apply If you’re ready to take the next step in your trade career and work with a supportive, skilled team, apply now via the Adecco website or email your résumé directly to *********@adecco.com.au.
