Position Overview Position: Early Childhood Educator Workload FTE: Part‑Time (3 or 4 days) Pay: $30.00 to $40.00 per hour, depending on experience Employment Basis: Permanent Commencement: 05/01/2026 The Role Are you a passionate and caring early childhood professional looking to make a meaningful impact? St Andrews Lutheran College is seeking a dedicated Educator to join our vibrant Early Learning Centre team in a part‑time, permanent capacity. As an Educator, you will work collaboratively with the Teacher/Lead Educator to create a stimulating, secure, and developmentally appropriate environment for children. You will actively support the spiritual, emotional, and educational growth of each child, while fostering strong relationships with families and the wider community. You will assist with implementing an inclusive program across multiple rooms. Selection Criteria You will bring: A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to child‑centred developmental practice. A Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent). Experience working in early childhood settings. A sound understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF). Strong communication and teamwork skills and flexibility to work across multiple rooms. A collaborative approach and willingness to contribute to a positive team culture and adapt to the needs of the College. Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certificates and a valid Working with Children Check (Blue Card). Commitment to the Christian ethos and values of the College, with the ability to support its mission and contribute positively to its community life.
