The School Since 1921, Pinjarra Senior High School (SHS) has proudly served the community of Pinjarra and its surrounding region. The Role As an English Teacher at Pinjarra SHS, you will join our dedicated, experienced team to develop, review and deliver the English curriculum. The successful applicant would have the opportunity to apply their expertise of the English Learning Area across Years 7 to 12, utilising their knowledge and teaching experience to encourage and support all our students to aspire to continuous growth. We are seeking a teacher who excels in engaging and motivating students through creating a safe and inclusive learning environment. The successful applicant should display strong professional knowledge and a repertoire of effective instructional practices to challenge students and enrich learning experiences. The ability to differentiate the curriculum to support individual student progress is important, as is the capacity to form strong relationships with students, colleagues, parents/caregivers and the network of external stakeholders and partners who support the school. Experience or an interest in teaching Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) English will be highly regarded but not essential.
