HSIE Teacher – Business Studies Focus Commencing Term 1, 2026 St Spyridon College is a dynamic, independent co‑educational school committed to academic excellence and personalised learning. We are seeking a passionate and innovative HSIE teacher with a strong focus on Business Studies to join our Secondary School team from Term 1, 2026 on a fixed term basis for 12 months. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to delivering a rigorous academic program and fostering a culture of high achievement. Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging and challenging Business Studies lessons that inspire student interest and achievement. Contribute to the academic strength and collaborative culture of the HSIE faculty. Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students. Integrate relevant technologies to enhance teaching and learning. Use student performance data to inform and refine teaching practices. Maintain regular communication with students, parents, and colleagues regarding progress and wellbeing. Participate fully in the life of the College, including co‑curricular activities and occasional Saturday sport. Undertake additional duties as directed by the Head of College or delegate. Essential Criteria Demonstrated expertise in teaching Business Studies, with capacity to teach other HSIE subjects. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Enthusiasm for learning and a commitment to student success. High emotional intelligence and a positive, professional approach. High expectations for student learning and behaviour. Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to a team environment. Willingness to support the Orthodox ethos and values of the College. Requirements A relevant tertiary qualification. A current and valid work rights in Australia. A current and valid NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC). eTAMS teacher accreditation. What We Offer Competitive salary.
