VDS Constructions PTY LTD is seeking an experienced and skilled Commercial Maintenance Worker to join our team. As a Maintenance Worker, you will play a key role in carrying out repairs, maintenance, and small works across a range of commercial properties throughout Sydney. What You'll Be Doing Perform general building and property maintenance across commercial sites Complete minor carpentry, plastering, painting, and repair work Conduct routine inspections and respond promptly to maintenance requests Travel between multiple job sites each day to carry out scheduled and reactive maintenance tasks Liaise with clients, site managers, and tenants in a professional manner Ensure all work is performed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard Maintain a safe and organised work environment, adhering to all WHS requirements What We're Looking For Proven experience in commercial maintenance or a related trade role Strong practical skills across general repairs, carpentry, and/or handyman work Own vehicle (required) – travel between job sites is essential Own tools (preferred) – suitable for general maintenance work Current driver’s licence and White Card (Construction Induction) Ability to work independently and manage time effectively across multiple sites Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high‑quality work Professional presentation and customer service skills What We Offer Ongoing commercial maintenance work across Sydney Competitive pay rates based on experience and capability Opportunities for professional growth and development A collaborative and inclusive team culture that values workmanship and reliability About Us VDS Constructions PTY LTD is a well-established construction and maintenance company based on the Central Coast, with work spanning from Sydney to Newcastle.
