Wind Turbine Technician

Wind Turbine Technician - Electrician, Fitter or Mechanic Australian Wind Services are specialists who exclusively service the wind energy industry. About the position Troubleshootingand repair complex problems on wind turbines. Performing mechanical and electrical component maintenance which will include repairing and replacing wind turbinecomponents as required. Completingrequired paperwork including work orders, pre-start checklists, electrical works certificates, SWMS/JSEA's and more. Exhibiting positive, courteous behaviour with clients, businesses and co-workers. Usingall mandatory safety equipment and complying with all safety and environmental requirements in accordance with company and government regulations and guidelines. Working overtime as needed, some travel may be required. Completing training as required. Travel to other site locations as required. About you Preferably 2-3 years experience working in a trade environment, ideally working with wind turbines or in anindustrial mechanical environment preferred. Ability to work at heights. A strong commitment to safety and a safe working environment. Good communication skills both verbal and written. Positive attitude and approach to day to day duties. Demonstrated initiative to increase efficiency in operations. Must be willing to travel to other site locations.
