In this pivotal role, you’ll develop and advocate policy positions that support a thriving property industry and deliver better outcomes for communities across NSW. What You’ll Do Lead policy development – craft strategic and operational policy positions with strong member input. Influence decision‑makers – engage with State and local government to shape legislation and planning frameworks. Prepare high‑impact submissions – deliver clear, evidence‑based recommendations to government. Build relationships that matter – connect with politicians, advisors, and key stakeholders to advance industry priorities. Represent the industry – attend meetings and forums alongside senior leaders. Support events and engagement – identify topics and speakers, prepare materials, and assist with delivery. Drive research and insights – undertake original research to strengthen policy positions and inform publications. What We’re Looking For Experience in policy development and/or advocacy. Strong understanding of the political process and strategic planning challenges in NSW. Excellent research, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with precision. A collaborative team player who can also work independently.
