Bookkeeper / Payroll Officer – Real Estate

Are you a detail-driven finance professional looking to grow your career in a fast-paced real estate environment? We are looking for a proactive Bookkeeper / Payroll Officer to join our finance team, supporting our Sales and Property Management divisions. This role offers variety, stability, and the opportunity to work within a supportive, collaborative office. About the Role In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing payroll, preparing sales commission calculations, and ensuring smooth financial operations across the agency. You’ll work closely with our Finance Manager and frontline teams to support day-to-day accounting and reporting functions. Key Responsibilities Daily and monthly bank reconciliations General ledger maintenance, journals, accruals, and month-end reconciliations Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable processing Weekly payroll processing (including payroll tax, super, and statutory reporting) Sales commission and property management incentive calculations Preparation of month-end reports and audit support documentation Financial administration and coordination with Sales & PM teams What We’re Looking For Experience or qualifications in bookkeeping or accounting Strong understanding of accounting principles and payroll processes Experience with Xero (preferred; training can be provided) Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills Clear communication and teamwork abilities Real estate industry experience is an advantage but not essential The Ray White Group encompasses a collection of diverse yet interconnected businesses, united by a shared heritage that dates back to 1902.
