Multiple Baker and Slicing Assistants/Production Operators, Darwin Currently we have a number of vacancies for a Baker and Slicing Assistants/Production Operators in our baking production facility in Darwin . The Operator is an integral member of the baking team. The role will make a strong contribution to a high performing production team and team culture within the Darwin site. These positions are integral to the success output of our daily fresh products to the community. Reporting into a Team Manager you will work as part of the operations team to ensure that the daily fresh bread products are produced and packaged in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner, ensuring quality and food safety standards are met. You will need a willingness and an aptitude to learn and a history in manufacturing or machine line operations. To ensure success in this role you will have good communication and be committed to following processes and procedures. Interacting with a variety of people will come naturally to you, and while you will actively contribute to the team you will be disciplined enough to work autonomously. Shift Patterns Available Shift One: Monday 5:45 am - 3:45 pm, Tuesday 7:45 am - 5:45 pm, Thursday 5:45 am - 3:45 pm, Friday 7:45 am - 5:45 pm Shift Two: Monday 5:45 am - 3:45 pm, Tuesday 7:45 am - 5:45 pm, Friday 7:45 am - 5:45 pm, Saturday 8:45 am - 6:45 pm Shift Three: Monday 5:45 am - 3:45 pm, Thursday 5:45 am - 3:45 pm, Friday 7:45 am - 5:45 pm, Saturday 8:45 am - 6:45 pm Shift Four: Monday 5:00 am - 3:00 pm, Thursday 5:00 am - 3:00 pm, Friday 7:00 am - 5:00 pm, Saturday 7:00 am - 5:00 pm Key Accountabilities Operation of machinery and equipment on the processing lines Adhering to the company's Health and Safety/Food Safety (HACCP) policy and procedures Perform effective on line quality checks, product evaluation and monitoring. Maintaining a clean and safe work area About You 2+ years experience in Food Manufacturing or FMCG environment (desirable) Experience in Food handling/Food processing industry Ability to follow standard operating procedures and work autonomously Effective oral and written communication.
