Inventory Controller – Full Time | Altona, VIC Hi‑Tec Oils, a proudly Australian‑owned manufacturer and distributor of automotive, industrial, and commercial lubricants, is seeking a skilled Inventory Controller to join our Altona warehouse and manufacturing depot. This role is critical to ensuring stock accuracy, availability, and integrity across our operations. About the Role As Inventory Controller, you will work closely with production, logistics, warehouse, and sales teams to: Maintain and reconcile stock in our Warehouse Management System (WMS) Conduct daily cycle counts and periodic stocktakes Manage stock movements, transfers, and purchase orders Investigate discrepancies and ensure accurate reporting Support compliance with WHS, quality, and inventory procedures Assist with system upgrades and process improvement initiatives What You’ll Bring Minimum 5 years’ experience in inventory control within a warehouse or manufacturing environment Strong understanding of inventory principles, stocktake procedures, and WMS systems Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills High attention to detail and strong analytical/problem‑solving abilities Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Desirable Experience in automotive, manufacturing, or lubricants industries Exposure to ERP system implementation/upgrades Understanding of WHS and compliance in a warehouse environment Key Measures of Success Achieve high stock accuracy and minimise shrinkage Complete cycle counts and stocktakes on schedule with minimal discrepancies Ensure timely processing of stock transactions, returns, and adjustments Maintain clean and accurate WMS/ERP data Adhere to WHS and inventory control policies Proactively coordinate with internal teams to avoid stock shortages or aged stock Provide accurate, insightful stock reporting to management Why Hi‑Tec Oils Join a nationally recognised, Australian‑owned company with over 25 years of industry experience Work in a dynamic, supportive, and collaborative environment Opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement and operational excellence #J-18808-Ljbffr
