As we scale, we are looking for an Accountant to join our team to support the business. About the Role You will be working closely with the Finance Manager across daily accounting, month end reporting, compliance, and project finance activities. This role offers hands on involvement across the full lifecycle of development projects, providing exposure to broader finance areas such as budgeting, cashflow, tax, and funding. It also offers direct exposure to senior leaders, allowing you to develop strong connections across the property and finance industry. This is an ideal role for someone looking to develop into a well rounded finance professional within a growing business. Key Duties and Responsibilities Handle daily accounting activities including AP/AR, payment processing, bank reconciliations, payroll, and financial record maintenance. Maintain accurate general ledger balances, fixed asset registers, project cost allocations, and financial records and schedules with supporting documentation. Prepare consolidated month end reports, such as Balance Sheets, Profit and Loss, and Cashflow Statements, and assist with financial and project forecasts. Manage BAS, superannuation, external audit and tax management across multiple entities. Assist with funding support, property management and continuous workflow improvement. All other ad-hoc projects or duties as directed. Requirements Bachelor's degree or higher qualification majoring in Accounting (CPA / working towards CPA is advantageous). At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar role. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Xero skills. Excellent organisational and time management skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Must be able to speak and write fluent English and Mandarin (Cantonese would be advantageous). #J-18808-Ljbffr
