Expressions of Interest - Excavator Operators Piacentini & Son is an earthmoving and mining contractor specialising in bulk earthworks, supply of mobile mining and earthmoving equipment, road haulage and mining rehabilitation services. We have over 500 employees around Australia with a head office in Bunbury, Western Australia. Piacentini & Son has a rich 80 year history of operations throughout Australia, supporting the mining and resources sectors with mining and earthmoving services. About the Opportunity We are seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced Excavator Operators to join a newly awarded project in the Gascoyne region. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a major new development from the ground up. Roles will commence on a 2:1 days and nights roster. About You Minimum 2 years experience operating production Excavators Skilled in loading trucks, trenching, battering, bulk earthworks and working around other machinery Ability to follow dig plans and work to survey tolerances Strong commitment to safety, hazard identification and reporting Ability to work independently and maintain consistent productivity Clear communication skills and a team focused approachValid Australian Drivers Licence Ability to pass a Pre Employment Medical & Drug/Alcohol Screen Responsibilities Operating excavators safely and efficiently to meet production targets Loading trucks, trenching, shaping and completing bulk earthworks Conducting prestart checks and reporting maintenance issues Maintaining machine cleanliness and safe operating standards Working closely with supervisors, survey and other operators to achieve pr Contributing to a positive and safe team environment About the Offer Attractive wages - flat hourly rate, super on all hours 2:1 Days & Nights roster FIFO Perth or DIDO out of Geraldton, Kalbarri or Denham Brand new accommodation village with modern rooms, great food and gym facilities Geraldton and Kalbarri locals strongly encouraged Great benefits including Corporate HBF private health discount, discounted hotel stays and travel incentives Access to an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for employees and immediate family Opportunity to join a major new project with an industry leader Apply If you are ready to take on this exciting challenge, we invite you to apply and join our team through the link in Seek.
