Chef/Cook – Wholefoods & Plant-Based Kitchen We’re looking for a passionate, imaginative chef/cook to lead our kitchen — creating fresh, flavour‑packed dishes that celebrate whole foods, free from gluten, dairy, soy, & seed oils. This is not your average chef role. You’ll have the freedom to experiment, develop new ideas, and design dishes that make people feel good — while turning heads for all the right reasons. About Us Olive Health Foods is a small, friendly team within a health food store based in Albury, NSW. We serve nourishing, grab & go meals that change with the seasons. Our focus is simple: creative, mindful food that tastes incredible and supports wellness. About You You’re someone who loves bringing ideas to life through wholefood cooking. You care deeply about ingredients, flavour, and presentation — and you’re confident creating dishes that meet a range of dietary needs. Ideally, you’ll bring: Experience in a café, restaurant, or health‑conscious kitchen Understanding of plant‑based or allergen‑friendly cooking Creativity, strong organisation, and attention to detail A positive, team‑focused attitude If you don’t meet these but share our passion for conscious food, we’d still love to hear from you The Role – You will be responsible for: Developing and preparing vibrant vegan and vegetarian dishes Creating seasonal specials that are gluten‑free, dairy‑free, soy‑free and seed‑oil free Maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and food safety Keeping the kitchen organised, efficient, and inspiring Managing prep, stock, waste, and daily service Working with the team to continually improve menus and workflow This role offers a high level of creative input and autonomy.
