Distribution Substation Engineer

Join a trusted name in power engineering and design. Balpara is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Distribution Substation Engineer to join our supportive and passionate team. If you’re motivated, detail-oriented, and keen to work on innovative distribution projects, we’d love to hear from you. What you’ll be doing Design and manage kiosk and distribution substation projects (upgrades, replacements, and retrofits). Prepare construction plans, estimates, and system records that meet client and regulatory standards. Undertake minor site surveys when required and collaborate with our field and design teams. What you’ll bring Proven experience in distribution substation design , ideally within the Victorian Electricity Industry. Mandatory qualification - Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) or equivalent. Strong skills in AutoCAD and/or Revit . Clear communication skills and a commitment to Safety in Design . A proactive mindset and eagerness to learn and apply new technology. Registered Professional Engineer of Victoria (RPEV) in Electrical Engineering or currently working towards registration.
