About the role With a focus on increasing secondary spend, the role leads commercial performance, oversees supplier relationships, ensures compliance with food safety and operational standards, and supports onsite teams to deliver efficient, customer‑focused and financially successful cafés. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in multisite café management or similar national hospitality operations within Australia, with the ability to balance strategy, operations and hands‑on support. You Will: Lead and oversee national café and retail operations, ensuring consistent, high‑quality service across all sites. Drive significant secondary spend growth by developing and executing strategic revenue‑driving initiatives. Analyse performance metrics (ATV, margins) to identify and implement cost control and profit improvement opportunities. Establish and manage national supplier agreements to ensure quality, cost‑effective and consistent procurement. Ensure 100% compliance with all Australian food safety, hygiene and operational standards nationwide. Manage comprehensive financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting for all café and retail outlets. Provide high‑level training, coaching and operational support to Centre Managers and onsite café teams. Introduce continuous improvement and innovation in menus, retail offerings and operational frameworks. About You A results driven manager with a proven track record in hospitality and retail operations, you will need: Experience Extensive experience managing multisite café, kiosk, or hospitality operations within Australia. Strong understanding of food safety standards, café workflows, and cost management. Demonstrated ability to drive commercial outcomes and increase revenue across diverse sites. Proven capability in supplier and stakeholder management. Ability to analyse performance data and implement effective improvement plans. Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship‑building skills. Personal Attributes Strong communication, coaching and facilitation skills. Work Locations This role is based full time in our National Site Support Office in Essendon, Victoria.
