Academic Head of English (Coordinator 3) Commencing Term 1 2026 We welcome applications from innovative relational and highly skilled Leaders of English. To play a pivotal role in shaping the English curriculum and fostering a culture of academic and pastoral excellence. Your capacity to consolidate and propel the existing well-established structures forward will be instrumental in this endeavour. The successful applicant will demonstrate leadership management administrative interpersonal and exceptional teaching skills. Qualifications Proven ability to effectively administer a faculty and lead learning; Highly effective skilled classroom practitioner with experience teaching English across Stages 4-6; Effectively manage and facilitate safe and supportive learning environments with an understanding of positive student wellbeing practices; Demonstrated ability to apply the colleges Learning Framework effectively while fostering a collaborative and collegial approach; Proven capacity to work as an active member of a dynamic professional learning community; Have highly developed interpersonal presentation and communication skills and the ability to develop positive relationships with staff students parent / carers and community members; Align professional learning to the needs of students; Developing a climate of excellence; Sound pedagogical practices; Inspiring students to aspire; Be willing to contribute to the broader extracurricular endeavours of College life as an active member of the College community.
