Practice Information Proposed Commencement Date: Flexible-Ongoing Collegial and friendly boutique GP practice in Cairns, with a team of people who have each other's wellbeing at heart. They practice quality medicine, refer to each other around our areas of special interest, and provide superb nursing and practice support, including a CST nurse and quality equipment. You will find that the quality and safety standards and hi-tech practice processes are top-notch, including 100% full function remote portal access, which will maximise your efficiency and lets you focus more on being on being a GP doing the things you prefer - like practicing medicine. The practice has an excellent reputation, which is demonstrated by long waitlists for all of our doctors. Their team is small and happy, with low turnover of staff—they have space now only due to one doctor retiring, and another having a baby You will be relieved to know that patients who show any lack of respect are managed proactively. The practice ensures that standards are maintained to a high quality in-house with robust policies, procedures, and systems to make life easy and efficient, and to minimise medico-legal risk. The practice culture you could be a part of celebrates diversity, practices inclusivity and maintains morale with weekly meetings and regular education sessions. The practice founded a homeless health care service in Cairns, and care about making our community and environment a better place. The practice founder and owner, being a GP mum herself, puts a high emphasis on family-friendly employment and actively engages with any suggestions for improvement. She is happy to discuss flexible employment or independent contractor arrangements (full or part time). Telehealth-only doctors’ sessions are available too; we turn patients away each day and could fill your appointments no matter where you are in Australia. You will be busy from day one, and we are very keen to assist marketing your area of special interest to complement our current ones. The practice is located in a DWS area.
