Proudly servicing Queensland communities, Max Stocks employs more than 100 passionate people who are dedicated to delivering excellent service to our customers, and now, due to our continued growth, we are excited to be adding Rockhampton to our established branch locations in Cairns and Townsville About the Role Max Stocks is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Store Person to join our Townsville warehouse team on a full time basis. This role is all about getting our customer orders ready safely, accurately and with care. You’ll work as part of a well‑oiled team, picking and packing across our freezer, chiller and dry areas, helping make sure our customers get the products they order, every time. Key Responsibilities Pick/pack orders accurately and efficiently Assist in the safe loading of goods into vehicles for delivery Correctly present paperwork in line with procedures Practice safe and correct manual handling General warehouse duties in a dry and cold store environment Key Competencies, Skills and Qualifications Comfortable working in cold environments (down to -25°C) Previous experience and understanding of warehouse and transport operations, preferably in the food service industry. Good organisational, communication and time-management skills. Highly motivated, flexible, with a solid work ethic and positive can‑do attitude. Be able to work autonomously as well as in a team environment. Great attention to detail and ability to learn a broad range of products. Understanding of WHS and HACCP requirements. Physically fit and able to undertake the duties of the role, including lifting/manual handling.
