About the Role Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for the upkeep and repair of plant and production equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operations. You’ll play a key role in maintaining production output and equipment reliability while adhering to WHS and quality standards. Hours Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 2:00pm Overtime available/required Key Responsibilities Maintain, repair, and service industrial machinery including batch washers, dryers, ironer lines, conveyors, compressors, and pumps Diagnose and repair mechanical faults efficiently to minimize downtime Perform scheduled maintenance, inspections, and safety checks Fabricate and modify new or existing components as required Troubleshoot and replace control devices such as sensors, switches, and contactors Participate in workplace safety and continuous improvement initiatives Assist with other maintenance and plant support duties as required Skills & Experience Trade-qualified Maintenance Fitter or equivalent experience Strong mechanical aptitude, including pneumatics and hydraulics Proven experience in mechanical repairs (chains, belts, bearings, etc.) Ability to safely operate hand tools, welders, and fabrication equipment Sound problem-solving and troubleshooting ability Commitment to safety, teamwork, and reliability Flexibility to work weekend rotations and overtime when needed #J-18808-Ljbffr
