Salary: AUD44 - AUD44.25 per hour About Role Toll People are currently seeking an experienced HC Driver to work on our customer site in Townsville. You will be responsible for delivering General Freight throughout the Townsville areas and surroundings with some regional areas. This role is suited for drivers who are seeking a potential for ongoing work Monday to Friday and available to work AM Shifts. Benefits AM Shift: $44.25 per hour + overtime Strong potential for these roles to become full time Excellent working conditions Competitive Pay Rate Safety Obsessed Culture and full on‑site training provided Key Responsibilities Extensive local knowledge of the Townsville area Load dimensions as you will need to load & unload your vehicle Completion of all run‑sheets accordingly Ability to complete all pre‑start checks at the beginning of each shift Skills & Experience Current HC driver license with 2yrs exp Experience doing multi‑drops Must be physically fit & reliable Extensive experience in commercial truck driving Knowledge of Load Restraints Co‑operate with your employer to ensure all safe work procedures are adhered to Immediately report any unhealthy and/or unsafe working conditions, hazards, equipment, or practices to your manager/supervisor and make suggestions on improvements Immediately report to your manager/supervisor all injuries, illnesses, incidents and near misses - no matter how minor Application Please apply online or, for any further queries, please contact James Gowans on or Toll Group does not accept any unsolicited resume referrals from Recruitment Agencies and will not pay any placement fees relating to such unsolicited resume referrals.
