Senior Associate, Energy and Infrastructure Join NAB as a Senior Associate in the Energy and Infrastructure team. This permanent role is based in Sydney or Melbourne and offers an exciting chance to build your career in Alternative Assets. Key Highlights Career building & development focused on Alternative Assets – Energy and Infrastructure. Strong portfolio management and transaction execution skills. Opportunity to work across Corporate Finance, Institutional Banking and Structured Finance lending environments. Responsibilities Manage the credit and legal documentation processes to ensure compliance with credit policy and deal terms. Facilitate engagement between Client Coverage, Project Finance, and other Product Partners for a seamless client experience. Lead client engagement discussions on risk management and monitoring, providing authoritative insights on operations and reporting. Monitor and manage the risk profile and compliance requirements of the client portfolio. Oversight of risk profile monitoring and compliance for each client portfolio with the Directorship, ensuring portfolio hygiene standards. Coach and develop associates and analysts, supporting their development plans and embedding strong portfolio management skills. Qualifications Passionate about the sector with extensive experience in Corporate Finance, Institutional Banking or Structured Finance lending. Relevant tertiary qualification in finance, economics, engineering, actuarial science, or corporate law. Strong financial modelling, credit writing, due diligence, and loan documentation skills. Experience structuring transactions, preparing credit submissions, and providing recommendations to credit. Capability to manage larger, more complex transactions. Awareness of market risk related issues (including legislation). Exceptional communication, relationship management, and leadership skills. Regular guidance and coaching of associates and analysts.
