Overview The NSW Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure invites applications for a permanent Talent and Mobility Specialist. The role drives high‑impact executive recruitment and supports the Government’s Workforce Mobility Placement Program, ensuring timely redeployment outcomes for impacted employees. Responsibilities Lead the executive search function, sourcing and engaging top‑tier leaders for senior‑executive roles. Develop forward‑thinking attraction strategies and deliver seamless recruitment experiences for internal clients. Support internal mobility for non‑executive employees impacted by organisational change, coordinating end‑to‑end redeployment outcomes. Conduct candidate sourcing, industry research, market mapping and talent pipeline development for executive roles. Create tools and resources that continuously improve senior‑executive recruitment processes. Contribute to long‑term workforce strategy and deliver a world‑class public service. Qualifications Sound experience in senior executive recruitment best practice, including approaches, marketing, social media initiatives and policy. Proven experience in executive search and direct sourcing with a proactive, creative approach to talent acquisition. Strong attention to detail and data‑driven insights using tools such as LinkedIn Talent Insights. Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills, building trusted relationships with executive stakeholders. Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and deliver a high standard of candidate care.Eligibility: Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or holder of a valid Australian working visa for the duration of the appointment. Benefits Clerk Grade 7/8 salary range: $113,574 – $125,720 + super + annual leave loading. Flexible working arrangements supported.
