Job Description Oaks Mackay Rivermarque Hotel is seeking a casual Guest Service Agent who is passionate about providing excellent customer service and welcoming guests to feel at home during their stay. Key Responsibilities Provide a warm and friendly reception to guests upon arrival, ensuring a smooth and efficient check‑in process while addressing immediate inquiries or needs. Maintain courteous communication with guests, colleagues, and stakeholders via in‑person, phone, or email. Process guest reservations, updates, and special requests accurately using property management systems. Act as the primary point of contact throughout the guest’s stay, offering prompt assistance, resolving issues, and providing personalised recommendations. Shift Details Rotating roster Monday to Sunday. Shift times: 6:00 am–2:30 pm OR 1:30 pm–10:30 pm. Immediate start available. Location: Mackay, QLD. Hourly Rates (excluding super) Monday–Friday: $33.38 per hour Saturday: $40.05 per hour Sunday: $46.73 per hour Qualifications Background in high‑quality service within a hotel, hospitality, or customer‑facing environment. Exceptional ability to communicate clearly across various mediums. Proactive and positive approach to exceeding guest expectations. Strong guest‑experience focus and problem‑resolution skills.
