We are currently looking for an experienced barista to join our team ahead of the busy summer period. If you're passionate about great coffee, love connecting with customers and our lovely locals, and take pride in creating a clean and welcoming environment we would love to hear from you Barista Requirements: 2+ years experience as a barista: basic latte art is essential, knowing your way around the coffee machine, can handle 5kg coffee on your own, can dial in like a pro, and care about consistency and quality in each cup. Outstanding attitude and customer service: you are friendly and energetic, keen to chat with the locals and always provide excellent customer service to new and returning customers. Speed and efficiency: experience in fast paced high volume cafes, you should be available to work open to close, including weekends and holidays. Cleanliness and attention to detail: very organised, stays on top of daily cleaning tasks and likes a clean working station, must assist in deep cleaning cafe when required and happy to guide juniors on cleaning where lacking. Excellent communication: can efficiently communicate with 2IC and management, can have friendly banter with staff and encourage a fantastic work attitude.
