Sleep Health Clinical Trials Research Assistant Join the Flinders Health and Medical Research Institute (FHMRI) Sleep Health team within the College of Medicine and Public Health to support world‑leading research into sleep and sleep disorders. As a Clinical Trials Research Assistant, you will play a vital role in the smooth operation of clinical trials and sleep research studies aimed at improving identification and treatments for sleep disorders. Base Pay Range A$85,657.00 – A$91,222.00 per year Principal Responsibilities Recruit and schedule study participants, manage logistics, and arrange participant payments. Operate advanced sleep laboratory equipment safely and effectively. Assist with data collection, record experimental details, and support analysis. Provide research administration support, including coordinating meetings, monitoring budgets, and maintaining trial equipment. About You You are a motivated and detail‑oriented professional with a passion for sleep and respiratory research. You thrive in a collaborative environment, can work independently, and have strong communication and organisational skills to support complex clinical trials. Qualifications Degree in a relevant science field (e.g., medical sciences, psychology) or equivalent experience. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a research team. Strong written and verbal communication skills with diverse stakeholders. Interest in sleep and respiratory disorders, with experience in clinical or laboratory settings desirable. Prescribed Conditions for Employment A current Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check, satisfactory to the University.
