We are looking for a Metal Fabricator/Welder and/or Sheetmetal worker to join our busy and growing aerospace component manufacturing/maintenance facility. Working on a broad range of both general and aerospace projects, you will enjoy working with a small, friendly and talented team . Our company has been supplying components for over 27 years for both general and aerospace customers. With CNC machining capabilities and a full welding, fabrication and assembly service. If you are seeking a role where you can enjoy the beautiful Sunshine Coast lifestyle and with the reassurance of a stable career, this position is perfect for you Benefits An attractive salary package tailored to you based on skills, experience, and qualifications A challenging role that offers career development , opportunities and flexibility Support and training for the right candidate that wants to grow with the business Stability – a stable career with an Australian owned business that has been in operation for over 27 years Work across a variety of different jobs and projects 38 hour week, early knock‑off on a Friday Experience and Qualifications Experience in performing fabrication/sheet‑metal and welding processes Minimum 3‑5 years of fabrication/welding experience is required Must be able to read and interpret technical drawings Experience with a variety of metals, especially Steel & Aluminium alloys Able to work autonomously and as part of a team Strong attention to detail Open to working overtime if required Australian work rights are required for this position Must be experienced in both TIG and MIG welding processes Highly desirable skills Ability to produce high quality, precision small sheet‑metal components Produce high quality welding services with excellent skills in TIG and MIG welding Duties and Responsibilities Provide quality, effective, and efficient fabrication services Fabricate components/assemblies to the relevant production drawing Grinding welded components A welding test may be required How to Apply Apply today and become part of our future.
