Overview Join to apply for the ADF Rehabilitation Consultant role at APM . Role location and schedule On-base work setting at Lavarack Barracks, Townsville, Queensland, Australia. Hours are 07:30 to 15:30, Monday to Friday. No billable KPIs; the role is focused on person-centred support. Responsibilities Taking a more holistic care approach, work within a multidisciplinary team to support the journey from rehab to healing Working with your clients, develop, implement and monitor their rehabilitation plans. Provide ongoing support as they return to the same job or source new employment Perform a variety of assessments depending on your area of clinical expertise. This could include functional capacity evaluations, worksite, ergonomic or activities of daily living assessments Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders including the employee who has suffered injury, illness, or trauma, medical specialists, and other treatment providers Report writing, reviewing medical files and maintaining case notes through, providing a high quality case management service What’s In It For You Joining a high-quality service provider, you will be supported and mentored through direct interaction and an extensive onboarding process (including ongoing shadowing) to build your technical knowledge and expertise and enable your success. What Will Make You Successful Current unrestricted registration or membership with the relevant industry body (AHPRA, ESSA) Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Osteopathy, Social Work, Rehabilitation Counselling or Nursing Clinical reasoning demonstrable through a minimum of 12 months experience in your registered profession Ability to engage across multidisciplinary teams to support the achievement of a common goal Passion to help people rehabilitate Occupational Rehabilitation experience is highly desirable Ready to join?
