Senior Structural Designer – Minerals Metals Division Wood is seeking a Senior Structural Designer to join our Minerals Metals division in Perth, Western Australia. Responsibilities You will be an Australian citizen or PR eligible to work lawfully in Australia. As a structural designer, you will have built your career within the resources sector, with experience in design of mineral processing facilities from concept to detailed engineering. You will: Collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment, building relations with stakeholders. Lead design solutions for large‑scale projects. Approach work methodically and complete tasks accurately. Work unsupervised with focus on task completion, initiative and time management. Problem‑solve effectively, communicate clearly, and contribute to a team. Qualifications 8+ years of relevant experience. Qualification in structural (concrete and steel) design within the resource sector. Advanced computer skills; at least one CAD system (preferably MicroStation OBD); spreadsheet proficiency. Understanding of mineral resource technology and structural technology. Teamwork skills and awareness of other discipline requirements. Methodical, detail‑oriented, analytical, literacy and numerical skills. Knowledge of Australian and common international standards and regulatory authorities in the relevant processing sector. Experience partnering with clients from juniors through to tier‑one majors in EPCM contracts (a plus). Benefits State‑of‑the‑art on‑site gym, wellbeing classes, free coffee.
