Personal Care Worker – Calvary Health Care Location: Tanilba Bay, NSW, Australia Employment Type: Fixed Term – Task Based (6 months, possibility of extension or permanent) Hours: Night shifts, 69 hours per fortnight Application Deadline: 6 December 2025 About the Role Are you a passionate personal carer who wants to make a real difference to the lives of residents? If you answered yes, then join the team at Calvary Tanilba Shores. The position of Personal Care Worker is part of an integrated team that attends to the personal needs of residents and ensures high quality care at all times. Key Responsibilities Support residents to live the life they choose, allowing them to exercise choice and independence. Contribute to the physical, emotional and lifestyle needs of the residents, through assessment and observation. Implement clinical and care interventions as delegated by the Registered Nurse and as documented in the resident’s plan of care. Assist the residents with their personal care and hygiene needs while encouraging their independence. About You Certificate III in Individual Support, or equivalent recognised qualification (Essential) Ability to engage with residents and experience in dementia support Effective interpersonal communication; both written and verbal Demonstrated ability to prioritise workloads Demonstrated flexibility, empathy and patience with the aged person and their needs Demonstrated ability to provide holistic care Demonstrated respect for residents’ privacy, dignity and self‑esteem Commitment to continuous quality improvement Working knowledge of WH&S and Infection Control Benefits NFP salary packaging benefits, discounted health insurance and gym memberships Paid parental leave Training, development pathways and career opportunities Flexible hours that make sense for you For further information please contact Asmita Chapagain – – .
