Senior Subcontracts Specialist The Senior Subcontracts Specialist is responsible for conducting strategic sourcing initiatives and the ongoing supplier management and subcontract management. The Senior Subcontracts Specialist is also responsible for providing advice to management and staff on contractual matters on existing subcontracts. Key responsibilities Identify gaps in the supply chain’s capability to meet business needs. Conduct pre award sourcing activities using RF(x) suite of documentation. Conduct difficult and often complex high-risk procurements. Review proposals, negotiate contractual documentation and select or recommend suppliers. Carry out post award contract execution and contract administration. Manage post award supplier relationship and performance management of suppliers. Be the point of contact with assigned subcontractor/supplier for all related contractual matters. Mentor Subcontracts Specialists and provide guidance on complex subcontracting issues. Qualifications Previous experience in high value contract/subcontract management. Proven ability to manage multiple subcontracts and meet deadlines. This is an initial 6-month contract with potential for extension or perhaps to be made permanent.
