What you’ll do
You'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale, high-traffic backend systems for the Everyday Rewards (EDR) platform that supports 2 million weekly active users across Australia & New Zealand. This role is within the Realtime Loyalty (RTL) tribe, which is responsible for the core loyalty functionality of the EDR program.Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and fault-tolerant backend servicesImplement clean, well-documented, and efficient code using TypeScriptDeploy and manage backend services on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using TerraformLeverage a monorepo to streamline development and collaboration across our engineering squads
What you’ll bring
Proven experience as a robust senior software engineer within highly scalable environmentsStrong proficiency in NodeJS/ TypeScript and object-oriented programming principlesDemonstrated experience with a major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure)Be passionate about problem solving and looking for new ways to find solutionsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
