Private Practitioner – headspace primary Care Private Practitioners will provide Medicare funded clinical services to young people in an evidence‑based, high‑quality, and holistic approach. The position is part‑time, flexible, with 1‑2 days per week at headspace Mount Druitt. Responsibilities Complete work in assessment, treatment planning, and psychological treatment Deliver Medicare funded services to young people, evidence based, high quality and holistic client management Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings Essential Criteria One of the following qualifications: Full Registration as a Clinical Psychologist or a General Psychologist through AHPRA Mental Health Accredited Social Worker through AASW Better Access Endorsed Occupational Therapist through OTA Eligibility to provide services under Medicare Commitment to achieving therapeutic goals using effective evidence‑based treatment strategies Previous experience in delivering psychological interventions A flexible and solutions‑focused approach to practice Have an ABN or be able to obtain one and appropriate insurances Relevant Criminal History checks Benefits 100% of all billings Full administrative support including reception, billing, appointment confirmations and reminders Free consultation room and appointment booking managed by headspace team Flexible, supportive, autonomous work environment Ongoing Medicare funded referrals Opportunity to be part of an enthusiastic, supportive, innovative multidisciplinary team Professional development opportunities, including peer consultation rooms Team building activities/social events For further information, please contact Hollie Leeder, Practice Manager, About Uniting Uniting NSW.ACT contributes to the work and mission of the Uniting Church in NSW and the ACT through social justice advocacy, community services and spiritual care.
