About the role We are seeking an experienced leader to take ownership of MyNCVER and related digital data platforms, ensuring they deliver secure, scalable and user-centred self-service experiences for our customers. As Manager, Data Products & Platforms (MyNCVER), you will provide strategic leadership and product ownership across NCVER’s digital platforms driving continuous improvement, service quality and innovation in how users access, explore and use VET data and insights. You will lead a multidisciplinary team and work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure NCVER’s platforms remain trusted, high-performing and aligned to our organisational priorities. This is a great opportunity for a leader who enjoys balancing strategy and delivery, understands contemporary digital products, and can build strong relationships while driving outcomes. A full position description is available on the careers page of our portal at What you will be doing Lead the strategic direction and ongoing development of MyNCVER and NCVER’s digital products Own the platform roadmap, prioritising enhancements that improve user experience, accessibility and self-service capability. Partner with IT to ensure platforms are secure, stable, scalable and fit-for-purpose, supported by shared governance and continuous improvement. Oversee the delivery of complex projects and platform initiatives from concept to implementation Lead, coach, and develop a multidisciplinary team across product, data and service delivery disciplines. Build strong partnerships across NCVER and with external stakeholders, including government and sector representatives. Strengthen NCVER’s impact by enabling better access to data and insights through modern digital services. What you will bring We are looking for someone who can combine strategic leadership with strong delivery discipline, and who thrives in a collaborative, purpose-driven environment. Proven experience leading complex digital, data, analytics or information service initiatives (end-to-end delivery). Strong leadership capability. Including experience coaching, mentoring and developing high-performing teams. Product ownership mindset – comfortable setting direction, making decisions, and delivering measurable improvements Sound commercial acumen and stakeholder focus, with a commitment to high-quality customer outcomes. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to influence and present to senior audiences. Relevant qualifications and/or experience in data analytics, information services, research, evaluation or related fields. Knowledge of the VET sector (highly regarded) We offer Ongoing full-time role based in Adelaide (candidates in Sydney, Melbourne, or Canberra may be considered with regular travel to Adelaide required).
