Chronically Online Podcast Host We are looking for a part-time podcast host to join our team one day per week at Centennial World's daily internet culture news video podcast, Mini Scroll. If you're a university theatre student or recent graduate, love performing, and consider yourself chronically online, this is for you. About Mini Scroll Mini Scroll is a daily 15-minute internet culture news video podcast that covers three trending stories each weekday from a progressive angle. It reaches 200K+ listens per month and is published across YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, TikTok, Reels, and other platforms. What a day as a Mini Scroll host looks like Source three top internet culture stories from the past 24 hours (e.g., creator drama, social media trends, viral conversations on TikTok, YouTube, Reddit, X / Threads). Research and write a short episode outline including key details and your commentary, with support from the team. Record the episode in-studio. Edit the episode and prepare it for same-day publishing, with support from the team. Complete the workflow within an 8-hour business day. You're the right fit if you're someone who Is studying theatre, media, communications, journalism, or is a recent graduate looking for industry experience. Has strong research, writing, and critical thinking skills. Has a strong on-camera presence and is open to sharing opinions on (sometimes controversial) pop culture topics. Is confident speaking on mic and delivering stories with personality. Is chronically online across TikTok, Reddit, YouTube, etc. Can work quickly, independently, and meet same-day deadlines. Is available to work one set day per week for minimum the duration of (preferably Tuesdays or Thursdays, but you may indicate a preferred day).
