Overview Intermediate Accountant - Business Advisory Darwin About the role This is a challenging & rewarding role, which will see you progress into the next phase of your career with solid training, support and technical exposure. You will work closely with the Director and other senior members of the team, assisting with the provision of advice & ad hoc advisory work to provide a range of accounting solutions to a diverse and growing client base. Responsibilities Preparing BAS & IAS returns Preparing tax returns, FBT & financial statements for different entity types Producing & maintaining financial reports, using Xero, MYOB and Reckon Software Preparation of management accounts, cash flow forecasts and KPI’s for clients Calculating and reconciliation of payroll tax and RTWSA lodgements Qualifications The ideal candidate will demonstrate experience within an accounting firm, with a relevant tertiary qualification and will be studying/aspiring to CA or CPA qualifications. You will possess a good technical knowledge and ability to generate financial statements & management reports, as well as being able to confidently communicate with your peers.
