Senior Fullstack Engineer – BuildJet BuildJet’s JetKVM project is redefining remote server access with a KVM‑over‑IP device that lets users control any machine—including BIOS—directly through a browser. We moved from a record‑breaking Kickstarter campaign, raising over $6M, to scaling production, firmware, and cloud services for tens of thousands of users worldwide. The entire open‑source stack (Node & Go back‑end, React front‑end) is engineered for performance, clarity, and maintainability. github.com/jetkvm About the Role As a Senior Fullstack Engineer , you will own JetKVM’s end‑to‑end open‑source software stack—from backend APIs and frontend UX to firmware integrations. You’ll shape system architecture, contribute to the technical roadmap, and collaborate closely with the founders to evolve both the open‑source and commercial sides of JetKVM. A Typical Week Might Include Fixing a React rendering issue Debugging a WebRTC connection between a device and client Implementing OTA updates, authentication, or telemetry in Node.js and Go Maintaining and improving our internal UI component library Managing and rolling out new software releases What We’re Looking For Senior‑level experience in Go and JavaScript/TypeScript (React) Strong written communication skills—daily interaction with contributors, reviewers, and users on GitHub and Discord Comfortable working in an open‑source, async‑first environment Strong understanding of modern web architectures and APIs Ability to move between frontend, backend, and low‑level systems A builder’s mindset—solving hard problems end‑to‑end Based in CET ±3h Why Join JetKVM is still small, so your impact will be huge.
