Innovative projects in renewable energy & power Flexible, friendly work environment About CivEng Consulting Based on the Sunshine Coast, CivEng Consulting is a civil and structural engineering consultancy at the forefront of renewable energy design. We specialise in the power and water sectors with typical projects including: battery energy storage systems transmission and distribution substations water and wastewater pumping stations We are also engaged in projects in the residential, commercial and industrial sectors. About the role We are seeking a senior level civil/structural engineer, ideally with at least 8 years postgraduate experience, for an immediate start. You will provide professional engineering services on our projects and report to the Directors. Authorisation to work in Australia is required for this position. Skills Tertiary qualification in civil or structural engineering and an ambition to work toward chartered status 8 years postgraduate experience in a civil/structural design consultancy Prepare engineering calculations, proposals and reports High level of general computer competency Proven ability to schedule and manage work commitments and conflicting priorities Excellent client facing and interpersonal skills Experience in the power or water sectors; or experience with SpaceGASS, AutoCAD Civil 3D or TEDDS software packages is desirable but not essential Experience in hydrology/stormwater analysis or earthworks design would also be an advantage CivEng Consulting is a friendly team of professionals working together in a positive, innovative and flexible environment.
