Security Technician – CCTV, Access Control & Cabling (Sydney) Full-Time (Mon-Fri) The Opportunity NetworkUp is growing — and we're looking for a skilled self starter Security Technician to join our team. The Role We're looking for a skilled self starter Security Technician to work across a wide variety of commercial projects, installing and servicing CCTV, access control, intercom, and alarm systems. This is a stable, full-time role within a supportive, family-run business that values craftsmanship, reliability, and long-term client relationships. Key Responsibilities Install, program, and service CCTV, Access Control, Alarm, and Intercom systems Demonstrate Integriti Certification and Milestone VMS Training / Accreditation Willingness to obtain Integriti Certification and Milestone VMS Training after hiring Trained in Structured cabling systems Structured cabling certification or equivalent hands‑on experience acceptable Commission, troubleshoot, and maintain systems to a high standard Apply knowledge of NSW Department of Education proprietary security systems Uphold WHS and compliance standards on-site Liaise directly with clients across commercial, educational, and industrial environments What You'll Bring Experience with Security installations Minimum 3-5 years of security installation experience required Understanding of IP networks and CCTV integration Current NSW Security Licence (Class 2C) Open Cabling Licence and White Card Professional communication and presentation skills Reliable, self‑motivated, and committed to quality workmanship Electrical Licence (highly regarded but not essential) Based in Sydney What We Offer Competitive Salary + Car Full‑time position with consistent Sydney‑based work Laptop and phone provided Variety of projects Ongoing training and skill development Supportive, flexible environment that values integrity and pride in work Why Join Us At NetworkUp, we're more than a security company — we're a trusted team of professionals dedicated to quality, innovation, and customer care.
