Solicitor / Special Counsel

We are seeking a Solicitor / Special Counsel to join our team. Key responsibilities will include: Handling public liability insurance claims Drafting and responding to letters of demand Debt collection and recovery Employment law, Fair Work, and industrial relations advice Managing legal risk for business clients Advising on contract disputes, remedial action, and settlement negotiations Advising on best practices in relation to regulations and acts from Fair Work, IR, OFT, OLGR and more regulations What We're Looking For Qualified solicitor admitted in Australia and based in Queensland Significant experience in litigation / claims work, debt recovery and employment law Minimum of 5+ years legal experience required Significant experience in drafting employment and client contracts/agreements Significant experience in public liability insurance claims and reducing risk to our clients Strong drafting and negotiation skills Ability to provide commercial legal advice to business clients Excellent communication and client management skills Committed counsel to respond quickly and have the availability aligned with operational needs.
