About the Role Aurizon Port Services is expanding its operations in Darwin and is seeking multiple Stevedores across both Full Time Permanent and Casual positions. This is an exciting opportunity to work with state‑of‑the‑art equipment including Leibherr mobile harbour cranes, reach stackers, front end loaders, skid steers, excavators, forklifts and light vehicles, while contributing to the future of Australia’s rail and port operations. Responsibilities Facilitating the loading and discharge of cargo, non‑containerised cargo, and bulk products. Operating machinery including reach stackers, front end loaders, skid steers, excavators, forklifts and light vehicles. Driving vehicles on/off Roll‑on Roll‑off vessels. Conducting shipboard and wharf duties, ship loading and other general duties. Basic administrative duties including tally clerking. Ensuring adherence to loading/unloading schedules. About you We are seeking individuals who have: Previous stevedoring knowledge and experience; experience in loading and unloading trains highly regarded. Ability to obtain Maritime Safety Identification Card (MSIC) – Mandatory. Hold or ability to obtain Reach stacker, Forklift and Dogman tickets. Must be available to work at short notice (Casual positions). Must be flexible with availability and be able to work day, afternoon, night shifts, and weekends as required. Available to work up to 12‑hour shifts (as required). Strong verbal and written communication skills. Steadfast commitment to safety. Must be 18 years or older.
