BLACKROC | General Manager – Recruitment Services We are seeking an experienced Drupal Developer to design, build, and maintain a government website. This role will support a high‑profile public‑facing website that acts as a central hub for information, stakeholder engagement, and public communication. Initial contract to May 2026 ASAP start CBD + Hybrid working Working within a government environment, you will lead the technical development and ongoing management of the website, ensuring compliance with Australian Government digital standards for security, accessibility, and performance. Key responsibilities Build, configure, and maintain websites using Drupal within the GovCMS platform Apply GovCMS tools, templates, and modules in line with best practice Ensure compliance with Australian Government digital standards, including accessibility (WCAG), security, and performance requirements Liaise with GovCMS for platform support, guidance, and training as required Content management Edit, publish, and manage web content within GovCMS Ensure content is accessible, user‑friendly, and aligned to approved standards Work with stakeholders to gather, refine, and validate content prior to publication Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand content priorities and delivery timelines Collaborate with GovCMS and other stakeholders to ensure ongoing compliance and site quality Provide advice on website structure, usability, and content presentation About you You are a capable and detail‑oriented Website Developer with hands‑on experience delivering compliant, user‑focused websites within structured environments. You are comfortable working with stakeholders, managing content workflows, and ensuring high standards of accessibility and governance.
