About the Role Royal Prince Alfred is the principal teaching hospital of the University of Sydney and offers speciality services from its main campus as well as from Institute of Rheumatology and Orthopaedics, Chris O’Brien Lifehouse and Dame Edith Walker Hospitals. RPAH is one of Australia's leading hospitals, providing an extensive range of diagnostic and treatment services. Its specialities include cardiology, obstetrics and gynaecology, cancer, respiratory medicine, neurology, liver and kidney transplants. The purpose of this role is to support the Chief Cardiac Technologist and Director of Pacemaker Services in the overall management of pacemaker services, with a particular focus on management and governance of the Cardiac Pacemaker Clinic. Ideal Candidate Degree or equivalent qualifications and/or postgraduate qualification in Electrophysiological Studies (EPS/CEPIA) or competencies deemed equivalent by the employer. Has experience as a Cardiac Technologist, including demonstrated pacemaker clinic experience. Able to supervise, train, and support Cardiac Technologists to achieve and maintain competency in device management.
