Grow Your Career While Growing Our Grounds Remuneration $29.48 - $31.19 per hour + Superannuation + Salary packaging Employment Type Full Time – Permanent Location Singleton Hospital Hours per Week 38 hours (Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm) About the role We are seeking a motivated and skilled Grounds & Maintenance Officer to join our team. The role is responsible for the day‑to‑day maintenance of the facility grounds, including mowing, weeding, pruning, shaping of trees and shrubs, and the removal of green waste. The position also provides support to other site trades in the general maintenance of the facility as required. Key Responsibilities Maintain the grounds and park areas of the facility. Mow lawns, weed, prune, and shape trees and shrubs. Remove green waste and maintain tidy surroundings. Support other trades with general maintenance tasks as needed. What We’re Looking For Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. Experienced in routine maintenance and general handyman tasks. Able to handle minor repairs and grounds work. Training, Support & Benefits Upon joining, you will receive a comprehensive orientation to the facility, followed by extensive training on gardening practices and plant equipment. A full health and safety induction is also provided, and you will have ongoing support from the Grounds and Maintenance team. Monthly Annual Day Off (ADO) for full‑time staff. 4 weeks annual leave (pro‑rata for part‑time) and paid parental leave (for eligible staff). Salary packaging up to $11,600, plus novated leasing.
