Test Analyst

We currently have an opportunity for a Test Analyst in Canberra to work on a cloud-based rollout project within Defence Digital Group. Description Join our Downer Professional Services team and play a key role in delivering complex defence and national security projects that safeguard Australia’s future. Downer Professional Services is comprised of two business units, our Technical, Advisory, and Capability consulting practice and Team Downer, a major service partner to Defence. Together, we are a multi-disciplinary advisory and delivery partner of choice for our clients in Defence and National Security. We currently have an opportunity for a Test Analyst in Canberra to work on a cloud-based rollout project within Defence Digital Group. What You’ll Do This role offers a broad scope, with key role responsibilities including: Undertake a range of testing-based activities across all phases of the Defence testing lifecycle. Develop and execute test plans, cases, and scripts aligned with project requirements. Conduct functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT) across desktop, mobile, and cloud environments. Identify, document, and manage defects; collaborate with development/support teams. What You’ll Bring Experience with test management and defect tracking tools. Familiarity with automation tools and scripting. Understanding of cloud platforms (Microsoft 365, Azure) and modern device management. Strong communication and documentation skills. Experience with Cloud-Managed Windows 11 SOE implementation and deployment. Exposure to Microsoft Intune (MDM), Outlook, and other MS365 apps on iOS/Windows endpoints. Migration experience (Exchange On-Premises to Exchange Online, OneDrive, legacy H: Drives) would be highly regarded. Due to the nature of the work, you are required to currently hold and maintain a minimum Negative Vetting 1 Security clearance as required by the Commonwealth. In some instances, compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements may also be an inherent requirement.
