We are seeking an experienced and dedicated endorsed midwife to join our passionate team at Tuart Family Practice in Baldivis, WA. As an endorsed midwife, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional antenatal, birthing and postnatal care to women and their families. This position offers the opportunity to work within a supportive and collaborative environment, contributing to the overall healthcare and wellbeing of our local community. What you'll be doing Providing comprehensive midwifery care to women throughout their pregnancy, labour and postpartum period. Conducting antenatal appointments, monitoring the progress of pregnancies, and identifying and managing any complications or high‑risk situations. Assisting with and leading the delivery of babies, ensuring a safe and positive birth experience for mothers and infants. Delivering postnatal care, including lactation support, newborn assessments, and coordinating follow‑up care. Collaborating closely with other healthcare professionals, such as obstetricians and paediatricians, to ensure integrated and holistic patient care. Maintaining detailed and accurate patient records and data, in compliance with regulatory requirements. Participating in continuous professional development to stay up‑to‑date with the latest midwifery practices and industry standards. What we're looking for Registration as a Registered Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia. Minimum of 2 years' experience as an endorsed midwife, preferably in a community or private practice setting. Excellent clinical skills, with a strong understanding of midwifery best practices and the ability to provide safe, high‑quality care. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with patients and their families. A collaborative approach, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
