Job Description :
Due to an internal promotion an exciting opportunity has become available for aVice President of Sales & Connected Partners ,Pacific
to join our team.The position is responsible for leading the strategic direction of Accor Hotels B2B strategic partners and protecting and growing profit through these channels.This position will also manage the roll out of Global initiatives nationally across all market segments within the Pacific and manage strategic relationships to ensure that Accor achieves above market performance.
Getting to know the role and your responsibilities
Lead the Sales and connected partners teams, delivering room nights and ancillary related revenue across designated managed accountsDrive Accor strategies from a market perspective within the Pacific platform and communicate to Paris to ensure a collaborative approach to development of strategiesDevelop sound business plans to share with Global teams whilst ensuring articulate and relevant communication to achieve buyin from Property General Managers and Operations teams within the PacificUnderstand the future of the market segments whilst maintaining a strong focus on distribution across the Business to Business network and how Accor will operate within that marketUnderstand and utilise the Accor tools and how teams and Hotels can best actively engage with these tools and ways of working to ensure a streamlined and targeted approach to market performanceLook for strategic partners across all market segments and to continue to drive performance through these accountsPrepare strategic business plans and market segments for openings of new hotels, in conjunction with Regional TeamsCollaborate with the local Revenue and Business Intelligence team to ensure correct deals, strategies and contracts are in place at the right time to drive market performance and enable RGI growthCollaborate with regional teams to ensure the implementation of strategy
Qualifications :
Bachelor Degree in Business or Hospitality or a Master of Business Administration or a similar related tertiary qualificationMinimum of 10 years experience in senior leadership roles within the Sales environment managing large teams in a complex environmentDemonstrated ability to negotiate in complex commercial environmentsStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office Suite and Sales & Distribution Systems (Knowledge of Accor Specific systems highly beneficial)Additional Information
